Call Center Specialist Nurse Positions

Call Center Nurse Overview

These nurses work in a call center setting where they put their expert triage skills to good use. Critical care and emergency department experience help hone the skills needed to listen to callers and quickly determine the best options for their care delivery. Call center nurses evaluate, process, track, document and coordinate patient transfers in and out of a health care system.

BSN preferred
Three years of critical care or emergency department experience required
Must be friendly and personable over the phone
Strong communication skills across the board
Must be able to establish relationships quickly with key stakeholders / peers (physicians and others in the health care system)
