Hospice/Palliative, Registered Nurse, Jobs, IU Health, Indianapolis, Carmel, Lafayette, IN

Nurses in this field provide sensitive care and pain relief to patients in the final stages of life. They protect patients from unnecessary, painful therapies, and often provide care at home, in order to maximize meaningful time patients can spend with family and loved ones.

Hospice and palliative care nurses work in collaboration with other health providers (such as physicians, social workers or chaplains) within the context of an interdisciplinary team.

Must be highly organized and compassionate
Home care or hospice experience preferred; acute- or long-term care experience will be considered
BSN preferred
Average pay: $44,000-$72,000 per year
