Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse Position, IU Health, Lafayette, Indiana

• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
   
• Basic Life Support certification required within 1 month of hire or upon completion of department orientation.
   
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
   
• Ability to provide clinical reasoning; decision-making and clinical thinking.

• Requires Surgical experience for surgical procedures (Clarian Arnett Hospital will perform the following types of surgery: general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, eye, urology, podiatry, GYN, vascular, and open heart).
   
• Requires ability to circulate on surgical procedures. procedures. procedures. procedures. procedures.
   
• Requires knowledge of surgical equipment and routines.
   
• Requires call coverage for nights and weekends.
   
• Plan to hire one graduate RN per shift previous student/capstone ICU experience preferred
