Nursing Administration Overview

These positions are responsible for providing administrative decision-making, leadership, and strategic planning involving the efficient and productive use of personnel, material, and financial resources in multi-specialty services in designated clinics. The incumbent is also responsible for the efficient and purposeful integration of services with other areas and emerging delivery systems and is responsible for providing leadership in all facets of patient care that ensure quality.

• Masters Degree required
• RN
• Supervisory experience required

Nurse Manager Overview

This position exists to manage the daily operations of patient care and resources in a defined patient care program, area or clinic. The scope of accountability for the specific responsibilities varies related to individual unit and program needs.

• Bachelors Degree Preferred
• RN
• Basic Life Support certification required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Requires knowledge in business applications.
