Supply Chain Nurse Specialist (Clinical Resource Manager) Overview

These self-directed, experienced clinicians effect change through collaboration and networking in an operational setting. Supply chain nurses / clinical resource managers work in offices and clinical settings and spend a majority of their time analyzing technology and products, reviewing clinical applications and evidence to support its implementation, and facilitating clinician review/adoption of technology and products. This fast-paced role requires “master teamwork” skills as nurses are expected to collaborate with colleagues in contracting, purchasing, operations and logistics to make smart technology/product decisions.

BSN required
MSN preferred
Management experience a plus
Project management experience required
Three years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership ability
Great communication skills
Expertise with computer software and knowledge of business applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Requires deep understanding of health care finances
Average pay: $60,000/year
