QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE /

SNE PACKET MUST ACCOMPANY APPLICATION AT THE TIME APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED  

• Requires that the nursing student be actively enrolled in an NLNAC or CCNE accredited nursing program.
   
• Requires completion of at least one semester of clinicals.
   
• Requires basic knowledge of procedures for performing assigned functions.
   
• Requires knowledge to observe and assist in the assessment of patient's condition.
   
• Requires ability to detect and report obvious and/or dangerous changes in patient's condition.
   
• Requires general awareness and understanding of legal implication of patient care activities.
   
• Basic Life Support certification required within 1 month of hire or upon completion of department orientation.
   
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to Patient Care Policy #PC 161.
